Initiative and curatorship: Eric Colpaert (the project was terminated prematurely because the intended goal was not achieved)

Artists, architects, photographers, performers, writers, poets, and residents were invited to explore the city of Bruges and look for a place or environment that would stand out to them for one reason or another. Out of respect for that place or environment, something could be added (as small and subtle as possible), corrected, or removed.

It was therefore by no means the intention to go all out on monumental scales or to use or misuse that place as a pedestal through ostentation. Thus, with all due respect for that place/environment, and integrated as much as possible, or conversely striking in order to positively influence the place/environment ‘as a whole’.
